This game is deliciously unhinged.

I'm still making my way through it, but I have so many questions about where it is headed.

And skimming through and seeing Alexander is a future route!? But how will sweet, obsessive Sebastian handle that? I just...oof.

Looking forward to more beautiful nightmares. And maybe, just maybe a bit of hope in the future. Though these bad ends are exquisite.

I had so much fun with this one! I'm truly impressed by the immersive quality of the game-- especially the streams with all of the comments and the emotes.

I adore Vinako in all of his calm, kind energy (and chest hair!), but I also have dumpster taste and appreciate the additional end featuring the skeezy, hot manager.

Oh, I love it. The tagline is PERFECTION. I do best when surprised by feelings, so it hit me just right.

The grip this game has on me. I was immediately enthralled and I don't think I managed to take a full breath until after the end.

Rarely have I encountered a game that so encapsulated the feelings of its characters. There is an epic story lurking in the background and you can piece it together, mostly. But the important parts are the bittersweet moments between characters with a weighty history.

I wanted to pick a side. I wanted to be angry at Salvi, or Dante, but I couldn't... I didn't expect to be crying from a game with the tagline: Take care of a sopping wet cat of a man.

The art, music, voice acting, writing all of it turned into this entrancing work that made my day. Congrats to everyone who worked on it. Truly an exceptional story.

I loved everything about this. The world-building and lore, writing, art, music... it all comes together seamlessly to form a deeply romantic story. I love the way the narrative varies enough to keep things interesting on each route and the romance builds believably with each of the LIs. You managed to tell a story about the fae while keeping it both wondrous and dark-- my favorite kind of faerie story.

Thank you for the game! It's a treat.

(1 edit)

I loved this so much! The creeping dread, Raku's longing, Nelli's secrecy... oh man. It built into a twist (that had just a hint of foreshadowing) and I just... this was impressive and delightful and eerie. Thank you!

-Whose route would you choose first? And why?

Vicenzo, but Edel is super tempting. I think I just felt like flirting with a fancy boy.

-What's your favorite scene/event?

So many of them! From MC's dying thoughts of "But I need to play my games!" to the clever glossary notes and the poker face due to playing steamy otome in public. I like that I had the option to punch the prince and that we can yell OBJECTION if we dislike the engagement. I am invested.

-Are you interested in playing the full release?

Absolutely.

-Are the LIs villainous enough for you?

I just got murdered by one and I loved it. I'm always down for some yandere/cage hijinks, but I like that I can't tell what they're actually thinking.

I always adore your games and this was no exception. I was delightfully surprised to recognize phonobabble, but my favorite moment might have been when I went to sign off to head to bed...

Thank you for this utterly delicious treat. Definitely turned my evening around.

I find pouring myself into passions and reaching for joy when possible to be even more important these days. And it is always so wonderful to hear that the people making art and games enjoy what they're doing. You and the rest of the team working no this really outdid yourselves.

I'm always excited to see what you come up with-- your games invariably twist into beautiful, uncomfortable, surprising experiences and this has been one of my favorites. I hope you can catch up on some rest before diving into your next project. (And that this helps stave off depression for at least a while longer <3).

This was exceptional. I have no idea how you managed all of this in a month, but I am impressed and delighted (and mildly grossed out, but in a good way! I love how dark things got.)

I am also very excited to see more of them in Darling Duality.

I was gushing about it to some friends today. You have a hell of start here and I cannot wait to see where it goes. <3

That's super understandable. Jams are tough-- and I'm enjoying puzzling out different ends. Thank you for working on a guide. <3

I am here for this! I love the dynamic between the sisters and how witty and headstrong our heroine is. Cannot wait to play more. (I've got my eye on you, Parker!)

  1. Which character was your favorite? Tristan! I was surprised by how sweet he was. And the way he talked about games.
  2. Did you manage to make all the guys on the main screen regain their color? Yes!
  3. What's your favorite moment in the game? Snuggling with Tristan. Or calling him a lowkey yandere.
  4. Do you want a Mark route? Yes! More of any routes.
  5. Would you replay the game if it were fully voiced? Also, yes.

Also, wouldn't mind an ending guide-- I keep getting the same (delightful) endings!

Apparently I didn't read far enough down! That makes total sense.

Honestly, misbehaving sprites are probably my favorite bug to encounter in the wild. Sometimes it seems they have a mind of their own... (And you can't convince me Bash didn't get a kick out of that ).

This bit killed me.

"I'll never leave you alone" *becomes Bash*

Ahhh! Chapter Six was so much fun!!!!

I did want to report a small (very funny!) bug I ran into. In the tender one-on-one scene in MC's quarters Damon's sprite kept switching between him and Bash. I'm playing on PC, if that matters

This was an utter treat-- immersive and dark and delightful.

I cannot wait to see what else you come up with.

This was such a treat. I know it was a fun demo for April Fool's, but I hope you'll consider completing it-- I am very curious about where things are going...

Finally started this game and I am in LOVE. That cliffhanger tho! My poor heart!

Cannot to see what you have happen next.

Thank you for this! I was SO close.

It's obvious how much care and love that went into this game and the update-- there are so many delightful little touches. I'm still early on in my re-play (am trying to savor it as I binged the hell out of it the first time), but it's an absolute delight.

Thank you so much for this! <3

This was utterly bewitching. I should have gone to bed an hour ago, but I stayed up to finish my first play-through (Jim).  There were so many charming moments and I totally didn't tear up at Jim getting to gleefully share his interests (hyperfixations?) and not feel ashamed.  (Kudos also to art, VA and music-- all around a great game)

Thank you for this one.

I adored this game. The creepy yandere vibes, the obsession with petting the cat, the wistful longing for something better... Thank you so much for making this!

This is an absolutely lovely game. End 3 was also my favorite. i love the demon's design-- otherworldly and strange.

Loved this and canNOT wait to see more.

I have been living in this game this weekend. It's enchanting.

Cowards! Let me romance Nyarbalte!

I loved the demo. Can't wait to play further. The art, voice acting, world-building... all so good.

I'm VERY intrigued.
